ventilation, and air conditioning (abbreviated
as HVAC) systems, which are an
integral part of most contemporary buildings. A sub discipline of Mechanical Engineering, which works based
on the thermodynamics, fluid mechanics & heat transfer. It also deals with
the design of the systems that control air quality and temperature especially with the need to provide
thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality within reasonable
installation, operation, and maintenance costs.
